Kodkod Conservation Organizations

To protect the kodkod, South America’s smallest wild cat, conservation groups work to protect temperate rainforests in Chile and Argentina. They conduct field studies to track the species’ movements and assess threats such as logging, habitat fragmentation, and domestic animal conflicts.

Organizations also engage local communities in conservation planning and promote native forest restoration.
