Cougar Couriers!

When a big cat collector in Texas died she left behind 20 lions, tigers and cougars in a barn on her property. Thanks to a five part collaboration of sanctuaries, GFAS – The Global Federation of Sanctuaries and YOU all of the cats were rescued! Max the cougar needed to be transported to Safe Haven Rescue Zoo in Nevada so Big Cat Rescue stepped in to help. The 5500 mile round trip from Tampa to Nevada took 3 staff members over a week to complete at a cost of $0.50 per mile!
