2012-02-15 Shadow, Smokey, and Star in Karen’s Keep

A glimpse behind-the-scenes of Shadow and Smokey Black Leopards and Star Cougar in Karen’s Keep. Shadow, Smokey, and Star were seized in a January 25th, 2012 raid by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks from the Collins Zoo due to permit violations. Wildlife officials worked with the Humane Society of the United States to place the animals, and Carolina Tiger Rescue was asked to take two black leopards and a cougar.
