Hungry Hungry Otters
This film shows several giant otters eating fish in a river in the Brazilian Pantanal. Today, Panthera is carrying out the Pantanal Jaguar Project in the Pantanal to protect the region’s jaguars. Jaguars act as landscape guardians, meaning their presence is indicative of healthy ecosystems that support thousands of plant and animal species, including giant otters like these, and humans. Visit Panthera’s Pantanal Jaguar Project to learn more about this program at bit.ly/fSrKhd. Watch the Panthera film, My Pantanal, to learn about life in the Pantanal and how Panthera’s scientists are working with local ranchers to ensure that conservation and ranching can coexist in this landscape. www.panthera.org
